I like that you've also spoken about being respectful of people. Just because you are on your computer doesn't mean it's OK to be mean or cruel to others.
In terms of security, it's a good idea to change your password often and use a password that is hard to guess. Don't use your pet's name or your brother or sister's name. That will make it harder for people to break into your accounts.
