Jingle Bells

Dashing through the sand
In a 4 wheeled open car
Over the sand dunes we go
Laughing all the way,
Drinking ice cold sprite
Makes my spirit bright
What fun it is to drive and sing

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to drive
In a 4 wheeled open car, hey
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to drive
In a 4-wheeled open car

A day or two ago
I thought I'd take a drive
The car was lean and lank
Misfortune seemed his lot
He got into a tree
And then we got upset
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to drive
In a 4-wheeled open car, hey
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to drive
In a 4-wheeled open car

  1. Mōrena Roman,

It’s Charlotte here, a commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. WOW, what great work you have done on the ‘Kiwi Jingle Bells’ task!

Awesome work on creating your own lyrics to the classic Christmas song Jingle Bells! Writing lyrics can be very difficult but you have done such a fantastic job! What was the hardest and easiest part of this activity?

If you want to get even more points for the Summer Learning Journey, you can give the ‘Step it up’ challenge for this activity a go! You can find this using this link. This requires you to create a Screencastify of yourself speaking/singing your song lyrics!

    Meri Kirihimete for tomorrow!
