The tundra

The tundra super is cold its one of the coldest biomes. The tundra comes from Finland the word tunturia means treeless plain. Dead organic material functions as a nutrient pool. Below the top soil the ground is permanently frozen all year round.Tundra is the area of land high in the mountains above the tree line. There are large areas of tundra in northern North America, northern Europe, and northern Asia.Map of the tundra biome

I think loggers should get part time

I think loggers should get part time so they don't cut down trees on Monday, Wednesday and Friday the the rest of the days they can cut trees

my two reasons are
1. we well eventually run out of trees and if we have no trees we can't breathe
2. we can make a lot of things with wood

Safe Hotel

Welcome to Safe Hotel

My hotel is made up out of safes! It is safe to stay in. You can put your stuff anywhere and it will be safe because it is in a safe. And the chairs are safe/s too. People come to stay at my safe hotel because it is a new experience as they have probably never been in a hotel like mine before. The best thing is that when kids dont like something they can put it into the table safe.

Sausages

Sausages

My favorite food is sausages. To make them you use minced meat and some other ingredients like breadcrumbs and herbs and stuff them into an edible lining. To make separate sausages you twist the skin/lining and then keep added the mince meat mixture. You can make long skinny sausages or short fat sausages or even very long curly sausages. This is the raw ingredients and you still have to cook it before you eat it. I like to eat sausages in bread with tomato sauce or in a hot-dog bun.

Here is a picture of how sausages are made.

Sir Edmund Hillary

If I was interviewing Sir Edmund Hillary and could only ask him five questions I would ask him this
1. did you want to be on the five dollar note.
2. how hard was it to climb Mt Everest
3.what school did you go to.
4. what was your scariest part while climbing Mt Everest
5. what type of equipment did you use

Helping save endangered animals

The wwf are trying to save a seal. The saimaa ringed seal is one of the most endangered seals in the world. There about 360 individuals left. The seal gives birth in a lair it digs into a snowy bank. If there aren't any snow banks the pups are born on open ice. the pups don't have any protection against predators. cold and human disturbance. Up to half the pups could die. so the wwf build snow banks for the seals. It's great the wwf can help endangered species like this. But they would need a long term plan.

Fantastic Beasts

My Devil Cow

My Devil Cow loves eating other animals but it mostly likes fruit. It has big long wings, longer than a three story house. It has 5 dots to mark how many humans it has sucked blood out of. It has tusks bigger than an elephant. It has horns sharper than a porcupine's prickles. Teeth stronger than metal. It has 3 tails that can whip. The spikes on its knees are for defending when it is under sneak attack, it can bend it's legs and give the attacker a frightening shock. Look at the picture I drew myself to see what it looks like. And if it was real then knowing what it looks like can help you survive.

Yes, I would like to go to visit Tāne Mahuta one day. I would like to visit this tree because I think it would a fun and long experience because you have to walk to the biggest and tallest Kauri tree. I like special trees. It would be good to visit because it is a very special tree and we can help look after it.

My Hometown

My home town is Auckland. My home town is special because we have many beaches. I like to chill out at the beach. I would take overseas visitors to the beach, a cafe, parks and bike rides. My favorite place in Auckland is home. Pt England Reserve is my favorite beach. This beach has rocks that you can jump off into the ocean, white sand that doesn't burn you too much, that you can chill out on and you don't need to worry about massive waves because there are no waves at all.
