Building a UV sensor

Building an UV sensor was fun but hard. We had to listen to the instructions or it won't work. Ray (Which was showing and telling us how) told us to put some wires in wires and that kind of stuff.We listened carefully and got it right. It took about 4 days to finish them (year 5s only). My one works well it can tell the UV good. It was frustrating when the wires didn't go in.

Most Dangerous Writing

I was on the 12th step when I awoke in my pyjamas. I looked up and I couldn't see the top so I kept going. It felt like the stair never end. My legs are hurting like a snake bit my legs. I wished that I could drive up the stairs. I finally made it to the clouds. I saw the sun setting the stairs went all the up I couldn't walk anymore I was at my limit I was about to fall off but at that moment the stairs turned into escalators and I could just sit down till the end of the stairs I heard this music I listened carefully the song was the staircase to heaven the time was down I was in heaven after all that walking I was in heaven I made it to the top it was beautiful you could do anything you want you could eat anything it was amazing. You could be anything you want. It was the good place.  To Be Continued...

Bippity bippity bop

Today Miss West said we are going to play a game about drama. The name of the game is called  Bippity bippity bop. Miss West said Bippity bippity bop and you had to say bop before Miss West said bop. I learnt how to say bop faster and say it confidently.

Recount Writing

On my birthday a few years ago I had my friends over and we were playing a game where we had to throw the ball at each other. I was getting hit the least because I was picking up the balls the fastest but then my friends teamed and I wasn't getting the ball. I saw the big ball I dove for it I got and used it to block the balls. The bad thing was that I wasn’t hitting them back so they tried and tried. But just at that moment a ball rebounded and it one of my friends bottom and bounced into the other. We laughed and laughed for like 20 minutes. That means for 20 minutes nobody throw the balls at each other because we were laughing. We got weak when we were laughing.

This week we learned that times tables can help in the posaplity tree. Then answer on tuesday 256 . The answer was 24 on monday.

My milk bottle cap landed on the face 5 times the side 1 once. 14 on the flat side. My friend got 10 on the face 5 on the side 5 on the flat side.

During the holiday, I went to the beach with my friends. We saw there was a volleyball net. We asked a family if we could borrow their volleyball. We played volleyball for about an hour then had some lunch. Before we went home, we gave the volleyball back to the family. I had a lot of fun at the beach with my friends.

Today are inquiry is life's a stage. So are teacher told us to write as much about life's a stage. The picture above is what my class wrote the bigger the word the more people that typed it. The blue words are ones that I did.

Extension Reflection

This terms Extension was fun and hard. We went to the museum which was fun. We had are kiwi competition and spelling bee and it was fun but hard. I think Extension is going well the way it is.

Trip to the museum

On Monday and Tuesday the extension and a few others went to the museum. For learning and looking at artefact's and war memorials. We were in groups to look around the museum. When we went to this place in the museum called the classroom its for other schools to go in. We got to go in VR and we got to code robots. But we only did that for two days.

Most Dangerous Writing challenge

Today I came home to find a bird in my house so I ran as fast as I could. The bird chased me everywhere I went. I ran up the stairs in the bathroom down the stairs in the kitchen in the living room. But the bird landed on my head and I started to scream because it was peaking my head so I slapped it off and through it outside. I waited for my parents to come home but it took them so long that I watched tv till they came home. The only thing that was on was about birds. That's why I turned the tv off!!!!!!!!!.

I had 5 minutes to write as much as I could about the pic miss west gave us. If we got distracted we lose.
